Coating Towel Questions

  • Ceramic coatings cure onto whatever they touch. A dedicated edgeless coating towel buffs off the residue cleanly, where a general towel can leave streaks or high spots that set and are hard to remove.

  • Not once product has cured into it. The fibres harden and will then scratch. Use a fresh towel or face for each panel, and treat coating towels as close to single-use around cure time.

  • Keep them sealed and clean until the job, and use them only for coatings so no other product contaminates the fibres. Any grit or residue on a coating towel goes straight into fresh coating.
