We're detailers who built a store
Detail Theory started in a driveway in Cleveland. We opened because we couldn't find a shop in Australia that stocked what we wanted to use and could tell us why.
We use everything we sell
Our range is limited on purpose. WE carry the brands and products we trust from years of working with them in Australian conditions. If we wouldn't reach for it on our own car, it doesn't make the shelf.

Walk into our showroom and you'll talk to someone who's done paint corrections, applied ceramic coatings and stuffed both up more than once. We'll tell you what you need, we'll tell you what you don't.
Your first wash or 500th. Same respect
Some of our customers run businesses, some bought a new car last week. We talk to both the same way. You care enough about your car to be here and that's enough.
HOW WE GOT HERE
Jayme has worked in car care his whole life, from big box retailers and global car care brands, to his own mobile detailing business and managing a PPF studio. He's seen the industry from every angle.
The same problems kept showing up no matter which side of the counter he was on. Retailers stock what distributors pay them to stock, customers buy the wrong products because nobody tells them otherwise. Most of the range is formulated for European conditions and underperforms in Australian heat and UV.
He opened Detail Theory to do it differently, products he'd use on his own car, tested in real Australian conditions, with straight advice on what you need and what you can skip.
