Shampoo

The foundation of every safe wash. A good shampoo lifts dirt with plenty of lubrication, so it slides off the paint instead of scratching its way across it.

Car Shampoo Questions

  • A pH-neutral formula that lifts dirt without stripping your wax or sealant, and enough lubrication so the mitt glides. That combination cleans safely and keeps your protection intact.

  • A pH-neutral maintenance shampoo will not, which is what you want for regular washing. If you are deliberately clearing old protection before you reapply, that is a job for a stronger prep step rather than your everyday shampoo.

  • Follow the dilution on the bottle, since these are concentrated. Too little kills the lubrication that protects your paint, too much just wastes product. A measuring cap or jug keeps it right.
