Key Benefits
- Powerful Iron Removal: Chemically dissolves embedded ferrous contamination, including brake dust, rail dust and industrial fallout.
- pH-Neutral Formula: Suitable for painted surfaces, exterior plastics, glass and chrome when used as directed.
- Colour-Changing Technology: Reacts with iron particles, turning purple to indicate contamination is being dissolved.
- Extended Dwell Time: Specialised wetting agents help keep the product active on surfaces for more effective cleaning.
- Low-Odour Technology: Updated formula reduces the strong chemical smell commonly associated with iron removers.
- Essential Surface Preparation: Ideal before clay treatment, machine polishing, ceramic coating application or fresh paint protection.
How to Use
- Prepare Surface: Thoroughly wash the vehicle and ensure surfaces are clean, cool and out of direct sunlight.
- Shake Well: Shake the bottle thoroughly before application.
- Apply Iron Remover: Spray evenly and generously across the surface requiring decontamination.
- Allow to React: Leave for approximately 3–5 minutes while the product reacts with embedded iron particles. Do not allow it to dry.
- Agitate if Required: For heavier contamination, gently work the product into the surface using a damp microfibre towel or wash mitt.
- Rinse Thoroughly: Flush the surface with a strong stream of water, ensuring all chemical residue is removed from panels, gaps and crevices. Repeat if necessary.
PRO TIP: For a complete paint decontamination process, use Armour Detail Supply Iron Remover after washing and before mechanical clay treatment. Keep the surface damp with a light mist of water during the dwell period to prevent drying. Avoid uncoated metals, test on an inconspicuous area first and wear appropriate protective equipment.
